Anyone have any good recommendations for comic book stores in SF? My main focus is bronze age Marvel back issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know about their back issues, but Lee's Comics in Mountain View (I think they have a few other locations) was my store of choice.
There's also Conspiracy comics down closer to Sunnyvale - San Jose, but again, not sure about their back issue selection. -
Thanks, for the suggestions. I don't think we'll be heading out of the city though.Comment

Thanks. I didn't even think of Yelp. Will check out some other sites like that as well.Comment

Comics Experience is a great shop, but I don't seem to recall a very deep emphasis on back issues when I've visited them in the past. They are well stocked in trades for all interests though.
Is Comic Relief in Berkeley still around? That was my favourite place in terms of spending hours digging through all their stuff. Isotope was cool and funky.
I liked Lee's as well. I've been to their San Mateo location.
San Francisco is very fortunate to have so many great comic stores in the bay area.
Although my one disappointment was when I went looking for old school head shops that I thought might be packed full of hard to find underground comix. No such luck!
I was also a huge fan of Green Apple Books for their selection of used trade paperbacks, including many obscure out of print books from the seventies and eighties at reasonable prices that I would never dare dream that I would find. Plus it's close to chinatown.Comment
