My latest batch from various sources. Since I've largely been getting deals, I coughed a little extra to get Adventure #461 & #462 featuring the last adventure and death of the Earth 2 Batman.

Looks like a lot of you collect the same era I collect.
Mike is into the Wonder Womans I see.
I lucked on a huge haul of those about 12 years ago at 25 cents apiece. i almost passed on them as I wasn't collecting WW at the time but the guy told me I better take them as they are getting hot and I'll never find them that cheap again...he was right.
I finally snagged that Adv 462 about a year ago after trying to find one for over 15 years.

I like Wonder Woman but it's pretty much restricted from 212 to 329, the end of the first series. The back up stories are also nice. Not as high on the reboots, non-powered years etc. I've seen the same guy with those two issues of Adventure for at least the last six months. I always said "next time". Since I had only spent $12 at the show up until that point, I decided there would not be a better time.

My WW starts at her depowering (178 off the top of my head) and through the end (Crisis)
          Those depowered issues are PRICEY!!!

            It Tickles!

After coveting this iconic cover for as long as I can remember, it came my way via ebay a few months back!!!

I was lucky, and relieved, that it wasn't slabbed (especially for a black cover!), as it would have easily gone for 2-4x the selling price if it were. Rare to find high grade unslabbed GA on ebay anymore.

            Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

              Nice books!

I stumbled onto a collection at a flea market last week. I was going through a guy's comics and most weren't priced, and he said "They're mostly $1, $2 or $5." I started to pull a couple out to ask prices on, which I hate, because it usually means they whip out a guide. This time, the guy said, "How about I make it easy for you and offer you the whole box for (insert insanely low price)?" I almost got whiplash from reaching for my wallet so fast.

Some of those pictured were bought at other dealers, but the box had mostly 70s books with a dozen or so silver age... got Captain America with the first Falcon appearance, Avengers #27, Daredevil #23, some early Starlin Captain Marvels, and about forty Marvel Team-Ups from 5-50ish.

Seeing all these comics is making me want to get back my collection I sold years ago. Great pick-ups everyone.

You mean Kirby, King of Comics by Mark Evanier?
I like that book a lot, it does a great job of covering such a prolific artist

Light on pickups the past two weeks but here's the new stuff. With everything I've bought recently though I've still got quite backlog of new reading material which is always nice.

Pretty nice haul today from one of the two cons I attend monthly.
With the exception on two books, I paid less than a dollar each which makes it even better.

                                Hmmmm....

Snagged a few of the 2000AD compilations. It's neat to finally read Dredd in the correct order. (I'm hoping the missing story is added to the Cursed Earth story next book.)
