    Promo Comic ID Help

Back in the early to mid 80's my brother and I got some candy that come with mini comics. I thinking they were about 1/4 of the size of an actual comic, certainly not more than a 1/3.

I distinctly remember one of them being a reprint of Brave and the Bold 43, the other one was a Green Lantern but I don't remember enough about it to peg the specific issue (maybe Showcase 22?)

I've tried skimming through the promotional section of the Overstreet Guide, but I didn't come across anything that looked like what we had. But that could be because I don't remember the name of the candy company who put these out.

Anyone here remember these, who put them out and what other charators they had besides Green Lantern and Hawkman?

Might you be referring to these? They weren't reprints though....

Man, that sure looks like the right kind of candy, but like you say, Wonder Woman doesn't look like it's a reprint of any specific issue.

I found and Aquaman issue of these on eBay, but same thing, it's not a reprint. Thing is, I tried to look these up in the Overstreet but there's nothing listed for "Leaf". Maybe I'll have to look under "Secret Origin Stories".

Thanks for the help, sure does look like the right kind of candy though.

Yeah, ok see I had the same experience as a kid, for some reason those Manhawks freaked me out as a kid. Made a real impression.

So that's the thing, I don't remember the Hawkman one based on the cover, but is the inside a reprint of B&B #43?
