Nice pictures! Being in Maryland, I really wanted to go this year, but had too much on my plate to justify taking the time out. This and Mego Meet never seem to coincide with my free schedule. That Wonder Woman drawing is fantastic. Any other fun people that you met?
    It's all good!

I post pictures of myself on here all the time, and they're usually a lot more flattering than that one!

Yeah, I knew that Mego Museum's own Johnnystorm would be there, so I managed to meet up with him, his wife, and daughter.
I'm kicking myself for not getting over to Denny O'Neil's table, but I was so exhausted that I was ready to go home. I've met him before, but he's always fun to talk to. I also stopped by Adam Hughes' and Terry Moore's tables, just because they're at almost every show and are super-nice. Terry's wife Robin and I talked about the Katchoo(from Strangers in Paradise) figure that was made by Shocker Toys and how disappointed they were with the guy that runs it. He delivered the product two years late, then called to ask if he could make a corresponding Francine figure. Needless to say, they said No. That's now my goal, to sculpt a Francine head that's good enough to present them with a custom of her the next time I see them.
This show was also fun, because we brought a friend that my husband knows from work. She's never been to a con before, and had no idea what to expect.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

I picked up some of the Ramona Fradon Plastic Man comics from the seventies this weekend at the Toronto Fan Expo. Fun Stuff!

Her stuff is just so amazing. I commissioned a Wonder Woman head shot from her then, and would have gotten others if I'd had the money. I read a little about her, and found out that she had worked on a lot of early Aquaman and other Silver Age books, and the she co-created Aqualad and Metamorpho. I hope to pick up more from her at upcoming cons, because they're really great pieces.
she's a bad ***, how much was that drawing?

$70 - a steal for colored, full-body original artwork by someone from that time in comics. Next time I see her I'm going to try and get a Green Lantern similar to the one in the picture. She also did an awesome Dr Midnight. Maybe one of these days I'll spend a little extra and commission Alan Scott or Jay Gerrick.

She's going to be at NYCC, I think. Maybe I'll try and get a commission from her there - the question is, which character.....?
