    Superman coming to...Cincinnati?

    Yup.

It was just announced he's coming to my town. I have no idea what he's going to do here, but I'm sure JMS will come up with some nonsense. I can't imagine how this was decided, but it is kinda cool. I just don't know how they'll make a story out of coming here.

    >I have no idea what he's going to do here

You haven't seen any suspicious lookin' extraterrestrials around, have you?

It'll be neat to see how close they get to your own city. (I can remember a Wolverine story where he came to Windsor.... which apparently has a block of skyscrapers I've never seen....)

Maybe he'll come cross the bridge into Northern KY and finally finish the road work on I-75!!! That's been going on since Siegel and Shuster were babies!

I was surprised at issue #701. I didn't hate it.

It actually touched me in a way Superman comics haven't since Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow.

That is not to say it's on the same level and that there aren't plotholes the size of tanks, but I could imagine Superman taking a day off to do stuff like this.

A whole year? Not so much. But I'm giving it a chance.

And as for his trek? In the story he just started down one random road and is following it across the country, hitting the cities and location hit the hardest by the economy and other real world issues I usually dislike in my flights of fancy.

...which will come out a year after the final issue reprinted in each hits the stands.
