Personally I don't want a new Superman movie. The reason being that I feel it would be too rushed and expectations would be too high to ever really do the character justice. I love Superman. I really like Smallville. But I don't think that the current "let's keep making comic book movies" mentality in Hollywood could really do Superman right. Of course this is only my opinion. I just don't want another Superman Returns or to have to sit through another retelling of his origin to "get everyone else up to speed".Comment

After seeing the trailer for the DC Universe Online game, I'd LOVE to see a CGI Superman or JLA movie. But, barring that, here's my choice for the Man of Steel....

I think this would be the best approach to a Superman or JLA film at this point as well. Perhaps the success of Avatar might help that get made. I'd want Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and co from the WB/DC animated side of things in charge of that one. That's one way of getting Tim Daly as supes... he'd do the voice work and wear a motion capture suit! My understanding is that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are quite physical when they are in the recording booth doing their vocal work.Comment

I would like to see a new Superman movie series. But only if it's done right.
I grew up reading Superman comics. Still read them. He's one of my all time favourite characters.
The Donner Superman is one of my favourite movies, has been since I was about 8.
I appreciate that Singer wanted to give us a true Superman III... which we can now look at as a sort of final chapter to the Donner Superman universe.
Now, it's time to reboot the cinematic franchise. Maybe go back to something closer to the comics. The potential is astounding.

Well I guess I am on the short list, I love Smallville! Could it be better? of course it could. Would it be better if Clark was in the suit? You betcha! But all that being said I have watched from the begining.
And yes I would love to see Tom in the suit for the new movie!
