Well, the trailer doesn't look bad, it does look like the same type of movie where humans meet CGI cartoon characters. If it is something that I can take my kids to and tries to be similar to the original (ala chipmunks). I'm OK with it.

Given how well Alvin and the Chipmunks and the like do, I think the younger kids this is aimed at are going to find it entertaining.
