The dates of the articles are about a day apart, so its all said at around the same time, so none of it takes precedence. You are just in denial. and your little dog, too.

Yep. But my article is the one a day ahead. I win by a pooch's nose! It will be interesting to see what transpires. Hey it's beating the Smurfs in Mexico for two straight weeks.

I knew GL was going to bomb, it looked so cheesy. I didn't bother seeing it and I don't plan too. I could care less about getting the dvd.

I checked the Green Lantern movie out from the Public Library and it's not as bad as I have heard. It's not great but I've seen a lot worse. Actually Spiderman 3 and Batman and Robin are worse than this movie imo.

I finally saw CAPTAIN AMERICA... and was soooo happy with it.

I couldn't get into GREEN LANTEREN... but that doesn't mean I won't try again.

                    Haven't sampled THOR yet.

I really should see THOR because I wanna see AVENGERS in the theatre
and should check out THOR to help set that prep me fully.

Frankly, I don't think I'll like any Marvel movie better than CAP AMERICA
                    and the Tobey Spidey movies.

Agreed, but this was the first in the franchise and that's brought down more heat. Those movies, while (especially in the case of Batman and Robin--one of the worst movies ever in my opinion) bad, at least came down the line.

Didn't really care for Thor the first time I saw it! But after the second and third time I really got to enjoy it a little more than Cap and a lot more than Green Lantern, and I'm a Huge Cap fan! You should give it a look!

Thanks jquest... I certainly will check out THOR.

I'm more of a DC guy... but I'm ALWAYS up for a good Marvel movie
these days.... Cap was indeed a tight hero flick!

THOR grows on you the more often you watch it, just like some other movies that I watched and disliked at first watching. Heck, some of them are now my favorites!

I'm glad you gave GREEN LANTERN a try. It actually IS a pretty good movie (I can see you rolling your eyes, Hector! ) and Blake Lively's acting isn't nearly as bad as people wanted to make it out to be; plus, the woman is B-U-I-L-T (I, for one, would love to see her in a revealing Star Sapphire outfit )!!!!!!

X-MEN: FIRST CLASS is a really good movie and shows that you can find a way of creatively mixing fiction with real-life events, even with super-heroes (or mutants) involved.

I have yet to purchase CAPTAIN AMERICA simply due to the fact that I'm waiting for the price to come down and it was probably my least favorite SH movie of the 2011 summer season. Of course, I like Captain America, but I've never been this huge, raging CA fan, so that could be why it ranks last on my list. Good movie, but not my fave...

Having finally seen all 4 movies from last summer, I'd rank them thusly:

                                1. Captain America: The First Avenger. Far and away my favorite Marvel movie. Stands up there with Superman:The Movie and the Nolan Bat-films.
                                2. X-Men: First Class. Totally surprised by how GREAT this movie was. Fantastic story and casting.
                                3. Thor. I can find nothing wrong with this movie. Great adaptation of the material. Good casting.
                                4. Green Lantern. I have no problem with the casting of Reynolds and Lively. They did fine jobs. Seemed like the director's heart wasn't into it though. Add the script problems and over-emphasis on Hammond and you have an uneven movie, but still a good popcorn flick. The extra 8 minutes added to the Blu-Ray make the movie read MUCH better. I'm just sorry we probably won't see the sequel with Mark Strong's awesome Sinestro going rogue.
