    Captain America movie figure

Not bad. I still think it would look better with the wings.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Yes...the wings would've been nice...but I like his look...appropriate for the time period.

It'll do. I don't understand the need to make everything utilitarian these days. It's a fantasy. As much as I love Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, I blame a lot of it on them, as far as the movies go. I guess it makes sense since Cap worked for the US military, but his original costume was created in the 40s, so it fits the time period too, obviously.

But it's not bad. Could have been much worse.

Ultimately its not about aesthetics, but the story itself. I'm not a big fan of Joe Johnston, nor his work on film subjects that were backed with lots of hype, like Jurassic Park. I just don't think he has the ability to pull this thing off. I'll be seeing it of course! But I feel like I'll be walking out saying it should have been given to someone else.

              That is really nice.

I wasn't sure which of the concept art pieces they were going to go with. That really works on several levels for a film set in WWII. I have no doubt they'll update his look for the Avengers movie and be slightly more comics accurate. I'm hoping for something similar to the recent Bowen statue.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I like his look for the film. It fits. Besides, he may have a different suit for the Avengers film.

Yeah, it's not like either Kirk Alyn or George Reeves weren't wearing tights before spandex came around . . .

Exactly. Tom Tyler's Phantom suit looked pretty dead-on too.
