I always thought Elvis would have made a Great Captain Marvel in the 70's He was a living Superhero....Here's Proof...LOL!

Elvis Presley fan here!

Elvis was a big fan of Shazam in the 50s and 60s. His outfits were designed after the Shazam look. I actually read that in a book written about him awhile ago.

Elvis is said to have been a huge fan of Captain Marvel Jr., specifically. Hence Alex Ross making the grown up Jr. into the Elvis-like King Marvel in Kingdom Come.

I'm a Huge Presley Fan myself as a Kid I loved his jumpsuit look......Loved the Big sunglasses and Capes the Suits IMO were incredible......I hate the fact that every fat guy took that cool look and made a joke of it.....The suit was intended for Elvis to move around in while he was in concert....Plus it gave him an Iconic look that Few music stars have today....

Yeah Man I'm a hardcore Elvis Fan...I don't care what anyone says I like 70's Jumpsuit Elvis and the Live Concerts.....Just wish he would have switched to suits as he got heavier.....and of course wish somebody would have looked out for him health wise .Maybe he would have still been around today.

As a wrestling fan, I've heard that Jerry Lawler was working to put together a match where he'd face Elvis to crown the true King of Memphis when Elvis passed away. That would have been incredible.

Well then, You'd fit right in me and my buddies. Every time we get together there will be some mention of Elvis, something like, "you know, I was reading the other day that Elvis said / did / was really into....(fill in the blank)". You better believe I will mention the "Dial B for Blog" entry next time I am around them.

We go to Memphis every year for the Anniversary. Now not all of us get to go every year, but there has been at least one guy from the original group that has gone every year since 1989. It's a great time.
