I get to brag a little. I ran into Benjamin Holcomb yesterday and cruised the floor with him. He introduced us to his friend at ONI press who was very nice and promptly handed us free passes to see the Comic-Con premiere of Scott Pilgrim, complete with an introduction of the movie by the director and the entire cast. ! This movie is absolutely phenomenal. Hilarious, action-packed, amazing and very creative use of special effects, an absolute geek fest. Wow, it's good. Lives up to the hype.

I can't wait to see this. The Scott Pilgrim 6 launch in Toronto was HUGE, and Bryan O'Malley deserves all the recognition and success he's receiving for it. A far cry from when he was living in a dingy basement in Toronto's Annex and working behind the counter of the very comic store that hundreds and hundreds of people flocked to this past week for his signing.
