I'm trying to dig the Flash Book here ...
But I just dunno if I even like the 1st book well enough to even consider buying a 2nd book. .... I will see where the 1st arc takes me.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
always trading for Hot Toys Figures . -
^ Yeah I agree...the new Flash series is a painfully sloooooooow read (ironically) And the artwork just doesn't work for a Flash book.
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Agreed also...the art is terrible.
And the opening arc should have been a classic one on one between Flash & a member of the Rogues, ideally Captain Cold. Instead they've done this very confusing future Rogues story & mystery. Hopefully they will find a way to bring back the real Trickster and kill off that extremly annoying punker kid. What a stupid idea he was.
Not a very great opening for such a huge character revival. Barry deserves better.Comment

Flash is becoming the new Aquaman. That's not a good thing, Aquaman has been pretty damn unreadable for a while now, which is ironic considering that Aquaman is finally starting to become an exciting character again!
they never should've brought Barry back. The problem wasn't with who was in the costume (Okay, it was when they decided to make Bart the Flash), the problem was with the creative team.Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figuresComment

^Yeah, I'm not feeling the Flash love anymore, and I was a huge follower. I don't think anyone really wanted Barry back except DiDio. I think he just wanted another GL-like cash cow.
The thing is, everyone (well almost everyone, sorry Mister Blisterfists) knows they royally screwed the Hal Jordan character in the 90s. Even if you like Kyle, you have to admit they did not have to do that to Hal to get Kyle on board. So fans anticipated a wrong being righted with GL:Rebirth. And Johns delivered a highly-satisfying story, managed to explain away 10 years of crappy developments, AND reinvigorate the whole GL concept.
But Flash...Barry was the patron saint of the DCU. Before his death in Crisis, editorial let Cary Bates run the title in the ground, with the protracted murder trial storyline that would just not end. Most folks felt Flash dying a hero was a mercy killing.
It took a while, but Mark Waid and Geoff Johns made Wally a character fans could get behind, and put the ghost of Barry Allen to rest. I still don't get why they ever thought about making Bart the Flash, but the return of Barry just alienated the core Flash fans, and left everyone else saying "meh". The demand wasn't there, and Johns' execution of it all has been off for him.
