It's been a while since I even looked at this program...but if I remember correctly it can store scans of your actual collection within the database. My question is about scans...I usually scan stuff like Mego Boxes and such at a high resolution, usually about 300 ppi/dpi, for eventual cleaning up and printing out. High res scans tend to make it a lot easier for me to clean images...but when it comes to putting images into the comic base database program is 300 ppi/dpi too much? I know 72 ppi/dpi is just OK and 100 would be better...but is more than 100 overkill? I'd really like the comic base database to be a true representation of what the comics look like...or as close to true as possible. Any suggestions as to how and what I should scan my books at? Thanks for any help.

Comic Base database question....
"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

Depends on the resolution of the screen you'll be using to view the images, and the program itself. The higher your screen resolution the higher DPI you'll need your image to be to be viewed at a decent size.
Some programs are set up for lower DPI images. Some are set up for better quality.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
