I'd love to see Robin Williams be the Riddler.

Honestly, many of you know how much I like to look at Johnny Depp. He is also a fantastic actor. But I just don't see him as any Batman villain.
I like the idea of using the Ventriloquist!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt would be a much better Riddler than Johnny Depp.

Levitt has a more "angular" look than Depp.

Levitt is young, has the right looks...and has the acting chops.

Plus he's in Chris Nolan's Inception...the word is that they have quickly became friends.

I predict Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be in the next Batman movie...whether it's going to be as the Riddler...I don't know...but he's going to be there in some role or another.

Clayface is an inspired suggestion. Ventriloquist could be darn creepy.

If they're gonna go with major villains I don't wanna see too many of them in one movie, but I wouldn't mind a cameo here and there, like Selina Kyle or Oswald Cobblepot.
Yeah, Catwoman, Penguin and Riddler are obvious villains, but we've already seen those. Batman Begins had Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow, which we hadn't seen before. Dark Knight had Joker again, but he's just too cool not to be in this franchise. For the third movie I'd rather get another villain we haven't seen before. I'd love to see the Ventriloquist in a movie one day, just not sure he'd fit in the Nolan Batuniverse.

I'd love one of Batman's Tragic Villianesses........ Catwoman or Poision Ivy but I'd love Killer Croc too....

How but Clay Face? He could be cool if done right.

Let's face it, any classic foe will be a completely new villain in this franchise...

I'm still hoping for at least a cameo of the Penguin (pref. Philip Seymour Hoffman), but...

    Depp as Riddler sounds great.

I am NOT in favor of loading several foes into one film, but Croc or Bane could be a good enforcer-type second-lieutenant.

Freddy Mercury in Slightly Mad Video is the best Joker. J Depp totally ripped him off !

I want to see Hugo Strange before this franchise ends! Especially the take on him that includes the Batman costume and the fetish with the mannequin. It's so perverse, that it would fit in great with the Nolan version of Batman.
While I do think it's too soon to start using the Joker after Heath Ledger's performance, I could see him showing up again someday, even if he's less visibile than in Dark Knight. One name I've heard mentioned as a decent match is Joseph Gordon Levitt, from "Third Rock from the Sun." He was also Cobra Commander in the GI Joe movie, but let's not hold that against him. I was looking at pics and I think he has the features to pull it off with a good makeup job. At least he would do if they just wanted to show the Joker being dragged into Arkham in manacles, or panning past his barred window inside.
What a shame that Brittney Murphey died. I had always hoped that she'd end up being cast as Harleen Quinzel and do some therapy scenes with the Joker.

I'm still pulling for Paul Bettany as Riddler. He's one of the greatest actors on the block and pulls off the crazy roles with the greatest of ease.

There's even a drive on Facebook for the same thing:

Call me crazy, but I think Jim Parsons (Sheldon) from Big Bang Theory would make a fantastic Riddler. I would make him a totally cerebral, non physical villain obsessed with proving his intellectual superiority, very quiet and reserved. Perhaps a serial killer of high profile citizens who taunts the police and Batman with impossible riddles as to his next victim.
