I think Brody would be fantastic if they were to adapt The Killing Joke. He's got the chops to pull off a really sympathetic pre-Joker.

Yeah . . . and take him back to how the character was when they introduced him -- not big reptillian guy like the gown (the way some of the artists have been drawing him over the years) or the big, dangerous dope they played im as on BTAS, but the dangerous guy disfigured by a skin condition who got kicked out of pro wrestling for filing his teeth for effect, and is now ruthlessly taking out rival mobn bosses to take control of Gotham's underworld.

Ruthless disfigured pro-wrestler with filed teeth? I think that would fit well in Nolan's continuity. Good call!

I've like Azzerello's recent version much more than the Were-Crocodile thing.



Although I'm probably alone in my appreciation of Eduardo Risso's accompanying visual of Pimp Daddy Croc in Azzerello's Broken City arc.

I almost didn't even watch it solely because he was in it.
It is quite a long movie.

Sorry, but he ranks right up there with Tom Cruise on my hate scale. I'd rather see them dig up Cesar Romero's corpse to play the Joker before they let that guy do it.
Do we REALLY need another Batman movie with the Joker in it anyway? About as much as Luthor needs to be in the next Superman movie. So many other possibilities before reusing another villain.

If i were to cast a new Joker I'd go with Adrien Brody....he looks like the Classic Joker
