Many hands have worked on this character. It seems awfully disrespectful to all those people to allow an outside designer to undo all that work and effort.

I must agree. I think Ryan's wit will also add to what could become a drab movie just so long as it doesn't go too far...

I think the suit is OK and Ryan R is OK but for Kyle Raynor not Hal.

the mag came out today. eyes are not really white. they are lightened and a shade of green. still looks good though

Adams had no problem redesigning Robin's costume, and it was no less radical a departure than this is. Plus he did design work and drew most of the licensing art for Batman Forever.

Oh, and I somehow forgot: Green Arrow!!!

Adams completely redesigned Green Arrow, and no one even asked him too! He took Bob Haney's B&B script and just decided to draw him differently. In hindsight, kind of "disrespectful" not only to Haney, but all of those who handled GA for the nearly 30 years prior, isn't it?

Of course, most will agree, GA was an improvement, but Adams is launching asteroids at glass houses.

Yeah but he took a Bland Character that no one blinked an eye to and made him a total Badass that most of us love.......redesign is fine as long as it's an improvement to the original.

I agree GA was an improvement. And I really liked his Tim Drake design. I have no problem with a good redesign that keeps the essence of the character.

Not trying to argue, but while I love Adams' work, he's being a bit of hypocrite here.

Well, I don't hate it but it looks a little too Tron-ish to me.
Maybe it'll look better on film than in a still.
