DC Chronicles Graphic Novels question.

I've been reading the Superman and Batman editions from teh local library. Batman vol 1 is my favorite so far.

What do you guys think of them? How far along are they ?
Have they collected many characters?

I love the chronological format !!!!!!

I'm a big fan of them. I have to look to see if they have any others out, yet, but I have Superman 1-7 and I just recently picked up Wonder Woman 1

I have the first Batman volume. They are great alternatives to the overly expensive Archive books, and have the added bonus of following the character no matter the title. Reading the Archive books is kind of a pain because Batman encounters the Joker in one series, having already met him in another, and so on.

Batman 10 should be out soon. I think Supermans next one is #8. Of course Canada is usually behind on these things, so there may be more out in the States.

Simply put---I love these!

Always preferred this era of the superhero to all others, and am having a ball reading or re-reading, the classics! In the case of Superman, DC seldom reprinted the early Superman comics (for a variety of reasons--legal or otherwise) so it was a real surprise to me, to see just how good the early adventures are. I wish Supes still was the fly in--smash em up--fly out kinda guy he is in these stories. The old 40's cartoon really was dead on the money...This is how Superman should be.

I have seen the Wonder Woman book, but havent bought it yet. I'm really hoping they do an All Star one as well...or even individual titles, for Green Lantern and Hawkman!
