I think That art Art Adams would be great doing it, as long as we don't get the ape versions of themthen again with him we could see cliff facing off against King Kong with betty as his bride. Another good choice for me would be carlos equizara or Ian Gibson

All good choices-these guys would definately be front-runners: Frank Cho, Darwyn Cooke, Mark Shultz, Art Adams, Steve Rude, Alex Ross on covers, (or a whole painted oversize special).
Other good possibilities: Paul Smith, (X-Men artist of the 1980's), Michael Golden, Amanda Connor,( DC's Power Girl Artist), Kevin McGuire. For the heck of it I'd like to see what these artists do with the character: Howard Chaykin, Mw Kaluta, Mike Ploog, Paul Dini, Mike Mignola, Paul Grist.
The Rocketeer is owned by Disney now, I think. Stevens claimed to have given up a lot of the rights when they made the first film. Seems likely they would use a Marvel stable artist, no? Disney owns Marvel. John Romita Jr., Ed McGuiness, Terry & Rachel Dodson.Comment

I wish Disney would do something with the Rocketeer either a live action reboot or Dare i dream a CGI movie which i think would work well.Comment

A classic-style animated film along the lines of "The Iron Giant" would be pretty swell!Comment

So here's the line-up to the Rocketeer anthology.
Mike Allred, Kurt Busiek, John Cassaday, Darwyn Cooke, Michael Golden, Gene Ha, Michael Kaluta, Garry Leach, Bruce Timm, Bill Willingham, and more. "Mike Allred is writing and drawing his, Kurt Busiek is writing a story for Michael Kaluta, John Cassaday and Darwyn Cooke are both writing and drawing their stories," Dunbier said. "There will be some pin-ups by Geoff Darrow, Art Adams, Jeff Campbell, Mike Mignola, a bunch of different guys."
This will not, though, be the first time creators other than Stevens have worked on this character. "A lot of people think that Dave did all of 'The Rocketeer,' but if you look at the books, there are some 'special thanks' to several artists who helped out," Dunbier said. "In the first story in 'The Rocketeer,' Jaime Hernandez worked on a page with Dave, and in the second book there are a number of pages that were laid out by Michael Kaluta, Art Adams, Sandy Plunket penciled a couple pages, Gary Gianni had a couple pages in there. A bunch of different guys have worked on 'The Rocketeer' with Dave, but most people aren't aware of it. Dave definitely loved collaboration in that way."Comment
