William Gaines on "To Tell the Truth".

Perhaps, it was the "Seduction of the Innocent" thread...the talk of back issues...the exposure to non-Superhero comics....or the recent thread about finding "The Completely MAD Don Martin" on clearance at Barnes and Noble that led me to this discovery. At any rate, reading through this board made me very interested in William M. Gaines and I have been reading and watching anything I can find on the Dude and EC Comics, Kurtzman, Wood, et al.

I remember a thread with a YouTube link of Stan Lee appearing on this show, but not one about Gaines' appearance. I found this pretty fun, so I wanted to post the link. My apologies if it has been previously posted. (audio is a little funky at first, but it does even out.)

Also, I found some pretty in-depth articles about EC from Time Magazine's Richard Corliss that some of you might find interesting.

Very cool, thanks for sharing. It's very nice to see Mr. Gaines in any kind of video footage.

That is really neat. I loved watching To Tell the Truth as a kid, too.
          It's all good!

find yourself a copy of "Good Days and Mad" by Dick DeBartolo.

very poignant and touching memories of the man, and his life.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures
