Me too. Looks to have some funny stuff and good action. Reminds me of Rush Hour kinda.

Some people are too set in their ways...lol.

I for one...think it's going to be decent...like Brian said...a comedy action flick.

That Asian actor looks like a decent Kato...I mean...he's by no means Bruce Lee...but he looks the part...kinda suave and smart.

Seth Rogen...love him or hate him, is a hundred times better actor than the original actor who played the Green Hornet...Van Williams...I'm sorry...but that dude couldn't act his way outta paper bag...lol.

I'll be checking it out for sure.

yeah, anything will look bad if the person looking at it can't let go of something they hold as 'source material'.

It looks all right. Hopefully it will be good. I know Seth Rogen got in shape for the part and props to him for that but I think he still doesn't look quite chiseled enough in the face. Maybe it's just his age. I think he is still fairly young.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Bruce Lee had a sense of humor almost as iconic as his martial arts prowess. I'd imagine he'd get a bit of a chuckle out of this.

you guys are taking things way too seriously.

look, it's okay to not like it because it's not what you remember, but at least be honest with yourself and say that's why you're not judging it on its own merits.

You know, I seem to recall similar grumblings when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman.

                        "Ya, MR MOM as Batman...sure..."

"Michael Keaton doesn't have the chiseled chin required for Batman."

"Beetlejuice is too spastic for Batman."

                        "Michael Keaton can't do action/drama/etc"

And yet, we stand over 20yrs later and all I hear at conventions is
"Michael Keaton was the best Batman, blah blah blah"

My point: I'm waiting until I watch the film before I judge it. I have no expectations, and although I've had quite enough of Seth Rogen, I'm willing to give him a small chance to impress me here.

If we get some good merchandise out of this, then I will be happy with it's creation. I'm hoping they'll remake the Corgi Black Beauty that has the Green Hornet firing his gun out the back window. Very cool car back in the day. Alas mine did not survive.

Anytime they reimagine something what usually happens is we get the classic reintroduced on DVD, so getting the original series released would be an incredible bonus.
