I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I would love to see some short films messing around with odd characters like Heroes for Hire, Inhumans and Beta Ray Bill, but on the other hand I think this will just turn into a cheap ploy to try and reboot dead stock characters - like they've been doing again and again for YEARS now.

I like it. DC and Marvel have a wealth of characters that won't and probably shouldn't be taking up the limited film releases Hollywood is willing to bank on. This would be a way to get some cool well done treatments of comic book characters done in a way that could result in more movies (or even TV shows) made we want to see. It does seem like a steal from Brave and the Bold, but I look forward to those almost as much as the show itself.

They need to be careful not to saturate the marketplace. Too many heroes at one time can translate into a declining interest for all.

Would we finally get "Damage Control: the Movie: the Movie?" I'd watch that!
