I have a complete set very clean and that takes care of my fix until the various parties sort this nonsense out. I agree with Mego73 though. I was beginning to wonder about the Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman. Now those are coming out this fall, so there is always hope for Batman. Maybe all the parties involved will finally make headway when they see the bionic shows do well. That's my hope anyway.

I thought FOX did a deal with Warner Bros. last year. There was a dispute for the rights to release the Watchmen film. The courts ruled FOX had the rights to Watchmen-not Warner and some deal was reached where the rights to the 1960's Batman TV show would go back to FOX in exchange. Isn't the ball in FOX's court now?
That was the rumor, but I'm not sure it was ever confirmed as true. That kind of legal mumbo-jumbo isn't usually spelled out.

If it were true, I'd say we'd have at least a Season One DVD by now.

Barris throwing his hat in the ring always busts my rump. The Batmobile existed for 20+ years before he came along, and he basically gave the Lincoln Futura concept car a paint job and some minor modifications. How in the heck does that entitle him to a piece of the pie?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Batmobile from the 66 show. But does Dean Jefferies screw over every attempt to get Star Trek merchandise out there?

^ Barris always seemed to me like he's the Stan Lee of the Custom Car set
