I made it threw a handful of books last night ...

Fall of Arsenal # 3 ....

Looks like Good Old Roy Smacked up, ... the pain was too much for him to bare anymore...., Not being able to "Get it up" with the Chesire, looks to have propeled him over the Edge. ... In a High State of Mind, He ends up going into a knock out fight with Dick/Batman ..., which he was the 1 Knocked out.

Green Lantern Corps # 48

Ganthlet is Now a Green Lantern ...., an Acting Green Lantern. I thought the move was interesting, and I like it Quite a bit ...., Looks like them Alpha Lanterns went Psycho once again ...

Green Lantern # 54

Atrocitus goes New York ! lol ...
Someone seems to be capturing the Entities ...., and Yat is Freed from his Cryptic state, thus Daxam's sun is back to normal.

And Birds of Prey # 1

I liked this book quite a bit..., It has great promise.
Benes Get's to draw 5 Hot Chicks..., then the 1st Villain shows up, ... and it's another Hot Chick !

I like Hawks direction in the Book as well ...., Looks like Simone might have another Hit here , like with Secret Six. Fun Stuff.

I'll be reading all of that EXCEPT for the Arsenal stuff...at this point DC had made such a mess of the Green Arrow family that I no longer care about it...

Enjoyed Green Lantern, and BOP is on my read pile for later.

GL Corps was quite good. I like John working on Oa and The scene with Ganthet making his own power battery was pretty good.

Kyle has grown to be a character i enjoy, and I like the fact that the Guardians seem out of touch and a bit sinister.

I enjoyed the Green Lantern title, but I wish the stuff with Sinestro and the rest of the Color Corps was playing out in the Brightest Day book with GL reserved to stories focusing around Hal. No doubt, Hal is still the lead character and gets some good moments in the book, but I would like more.

I have a feeling Johns only stayed on the book to further flesh out the other Lantern Corps. I don't think he as interested in Hal as a character as he is the GL myology, which is fine. I like that stuff too. Johns has really expanded the GL mythos greatly

But since the Sinestro Corps issues — other than Secret Origin arc — I've felt like Hal was a guest in his own book. it's really become an ensemble book based on the last two issues.

Why not just call it New New Guardians. Or they could give Hal a 10-page back-up slot and let the New Guardians stuff be the lead.

While I like the fact Birds of Prey are back together. The first issue left something to be desired to me, but I'm sure it will pick up.

Haven't read Arsenal 2 or 3. The whole going back to heroin addiction thing has left me cold. Plus, while I don't think killing off a comic character for dramatic effect is any big deal, I still contend Arsenal is a better character as a single dad than not, whether he has one arm or two.

Probably because it was predictable....A really GOOD writer would have avoided that road altogether and made the character stronger by not taking the obvious path.....

I'm a card carrying member of the "Hal Jordan is the OJ Simpson of the DCU club", so I don't read that book, but I totally love the shakeups going on in GLC.
