Power Pack has been an out of continuity all ages series of limited series for a few years now. It might not be a grown-up's cup of tea, but I bet many of us have 5-6 year olds in our lives that wouldn't mind reading a book about a team of kid superheroes.
In Marvel 616 Continuity, the oldest son has joined Reed Richard's youth driven brain trust in the pages of the Fantastic Four, the oldest daughter is part of Excelsior/Loners and the youngest two are part of the FF supporting cast of kids (which also include Artie and Leech, all living in the Baxter Building).
I really quite dig the art on those Power Pack stories.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures
Thanks for the update. i liked the original run of Power Pack and liked the idea of the kids growing up.
Alex gets some screen time in the latest issue of Fantastic Four which introduces Reed Richard's Future Foundation... a brain trust of kids that is dedicated to solving the disasters that were predicted as the reasoning for Reed and Tony's initiatives in Civil War.
I'm kind of glad that FF writer Jonathan Hickman has really picked up that thread and is doing something fun and cool with it.
A few years ago, Christopher Priest really wanted to use Alex Power in The Crew, and create a "Training Day" scenario with him. Unfortunately at the time, editorial decided that it didn't jive with the current "Marvel Time" to have him as a young adult. It appears with Julie Power established as a sixteen year old, Alex can now be eighteen and college aged.
Although this ages Franklin Richards (and Val) a few more years as a result.
