        very poorly researched.
Thats not the Red Lantern Oath ..., and Not the Red Lantern Symbol..., and Jordan as a Red Lantern actually had a bit different suit too.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

Geoff Johns in his capacity as DC's Creative Director, was one of the instigators for these covers seen on the TV show Fringe, and Ivan Reis drew the Neil Adams Homage.

Johns: "A month or so ago, I was fortunate enough to take on the job of Chief Creative Officer. That meant I was charged with bringing out characters out of the comic book pages and into the vast world of television, film, animation and video games that is DC Entertainment. One of the first calls I got was from the director of the Fringe season finale – writer/producer/director Akiva Goldsman. He was shooting a scene in an alternate world where things weren’t exactly like ours. Where even the smallest details were somewhat off. Including the comics. Together with executive producer Jeff Pinker, Akiva wanted to showcase an array of DC Comics that could’ve been including the ones you can see below. He wanted them to be as authentic as possible. Something only the hardcore would really recognize. We all came up with some ideas.

Considering the show borrows heavily from DC for it's very basis (Alternate universes vibrating) it was really a nice touch to see those.

No actually it's not....They're supposed to be alternate universe covers that are homages to DC covers...So the Red Lantern as depicted makes perfect sense. All they did was change the colors...I guess the opposite of green is red.

Just imagine of those Superman and Batman covers actually happened...I wonder how different the DC universe would have been as a result?

On the show, there seems to be a thematic emphasis on the colour red in connection to the alternate universe. They changed the opening credits to a red tinge for this episode.
