    FF 170 Variant

Found this at the motor city comiccon this past weekend. I assumed it was British but besides the price the insides are exactly the same.

Any one know anything about overseas printings?

Ahh - Ben in the Thing suit - great stuff - looks like it's in nice shape too! I also think it must be british, but hopefully someone else can give you more info.

How was the convention? I really wanted to go because Al Feldstein and Sergio Aragones were there, but I couldn't make it.

far as i know back in the 70's and 80's they did different covers with British prices. I bought a Batman comic in Bermuda. but I recently saw some comics in Bermuda and they all had american prices with british price tag on the cover

          9 p ?

What is that ..., 9 Pounds ? ... Not knowing the Exchange, man ... that sounds spendy.

No I think that's 9 pence....100 pence makes up a pound, sorta like 100 pennies make a dollar...So I'd say it's roughly the equivalent of 9 cents back then?

Its 9 pence, which i guess was equivalent to 25 cents in the day. This is how I would buy them from the news stands with the british price. They are exactly the same apart from that. When I used to collect comics, American comics with British prices guided for less (perhaps a 3rd less), i dunno if that still holds true now. You can buy a FF 1 or AF 15 with the old British prices on them, brings back a lot of memories.
