You know my fear with Johns in his new position is that if the DC movies that he has become somewhat the overseer of or go-between on start to tank that he might end up getting the ax at some point.

I'm sure Marvel would snap up Johns in a second if that were to happen. He supposedly has an Iron Man pitch that he's been sitting on for ages.

Given the fact that there are a half dozen Avengers books, I'd be happy to see him on any of those titles or even another Thing solo series.

Wow.

Where on Earth did they find this guy? His pencils are stellar, and he fills in the black for the inker instead of using x's like many other artists. That's the sign of a penciller who enjoys his craft. He's got a lot of Dale Keown in his style just a little bit cleaner line work and a lot less cross hatch. COlor me impressed. Sweet.

Isn't she Green Lantern powered (or Starheart or whatever you call that green energy)? I guess it's unlikely her since she's not from Levitz's copper age stuff, although she was created by Giffin I think.

I'm going to give this LSH series a try...I've avoided that last 3 or 4 Legion reboots because it's kinda hard to get behind a series you pretty much know is going to be jettisoned whole cloth in a year or two. But this bringing back the original LSH intrigues me. And the art looks great!

I agree with you, but I'm a bigger fan of DC's heroes than Marvel's.

I've been a GL and a JSA fan since 1973, and Johns has done more for those two properties than anyone but their creators and even that is arguable.

But, hey, this is a Legion thread.

I'm looking forward to the Legion stories in Adventure that will feature Superboy as well.

I mean it's been 30 years since there has been Superboy and the Legion. I think it was around 1980 when the New Adventures of Superboy debuted.

I think it's cool that Levitz is going to write a teen version of the Legion and an adult version at the same time. Hope both books catch on.

A time displaced Connor was a member for a year or so just prior to the Mark Waid reboot.





There was also a Legion/Titans crossover during that era that finally explained his time-displacement. Worth checking out.

Ah! You mean the current Adventure comics issues features Kal El as Superboy? I didn't realize that. I just assumed Connor because he was the headliner of the Adventure relaunch (although I guess Superboy Prime also got a couple of issues).

So all the seventies Legions are back in continuity for Reals! So the Clark Kent Superboy is back in continuity as well? I'm behind on Secret Origins. Is he Superboy in Smallville, or just when he visits the future and has adventures with The legion?
