Thats really cool!
As someone who works at a movie theater I do hate when they put stuff after the credits because we want nothing more then to get the theater cleaned up for the next crowd who are already anxiously waiting. Its very stressful.
However, as a fan boy, I love when they give us fun little teasers.
I guess I'm of two minds on the subject but both minds agree, seeing that hammer is awesome. -
Given the reports that Sam Jackson won't be in the Thor film, it will be interesting to see what kind of teaser they give us for that one... perhaps this means Tony Stark again (like in the Hulk).Comment

It's supposedly based on the start of JMS' run where they have the hammer crash land like a comet and the military surrounds and seals off access to the crater it makes.
I'm actually hoping after the Lord of the Rings type fantasy of the Thor film itself, when Thor lands on Earth in time for the Avengers movie, they will treat it a bit like The Ultimates. Where Thor is running around saying he's the God of Thunder and the rest of the team is like "yeah whatever buddy" (until the finale that is).Comment

Iron Man--Nick Fury cameo--->Fury talks to Stark (hand off to Stark)
Hulk--Tony Stark cameo----> Stark talks to Ross (hand off to Ross)
Thor--General Thunderbolt Ross cameo?
If the military angle is brought in, what better connection than Ross? Plus, what hollywood writer would give up the golden opportunity for the pun waiting to happen when you have a guy named Thunderbolt and a God of Thunder in the same scene?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Robert Downey confirms that he has visited the set of Thor, but doesn't indicate that Tony Stark appears in Thor.
Favreau confirms that the Incredible Hulk occurs chronologically AFTER Iron Man 2, although the Southwest reference is not the Hulk, so it must be Thor's Hammer in Oaklahoma.Comment
