Well with all things considering ..., it is the Best Books from DC These days as of right now as a whole.

Secret Six is still real strong imo ..., but not as strong of a following ...

I like the Last Stand of New Krypton story right now ..., with the legion and Brainiac ...., I think it's great.

A little worried about the new Direction of Boostergold ..., but think and Hope I will still enjoy it.

Most everything else imo, is hit and Mis.

If we count Brightest Day, this is just about a weekly dose of Green Lantern oriented titles spinning out of Blackest Night.

    I like the Idea of a 3rd Book ...
Because if you ever do read Corps ..., even before Blackest Night ..., there's just so much crap always going on, and they most the time tell 3 different stories at once , with several different characters. ... The Closure for the Story arc's seem to go on further than needed too ..., in doing so.

    I don't have GL 53 yet ...
I read a few Books over the week, from last week ...
Brightest Day # 0 was 1 of them.
Deadman's role seems like a very interesting 1 indeed.

I'm a little "GLed out".....I've been buying GL consistently since Rebirth so I'll continue to buy that. GL Corps I picked up since Blackest NIght started and it was pretty good so I may continue with that. But a 3rd title I'll have to say "no" to....

This issue seemed short and without a point.

Sure the artwork was superb, but the entire book was only a stepping stone to other titles continuing the Brightest Day theme. I guess they needed to start it somewhere. It's good to see Larfleeze becoming a player in the DCU. I have no idea what Gardner was talking about, but I'm in for another GL title. That's a blind purchase. And with Syaf handling the art for the Corps book that's now on my list. I never really understood Gleason's appeal. He grew on me a little, but I'm still not a fan.

I look for better issues in the future from the flagship GL book.

    Thoughts?

My favourite scene was with Larfleeze and Luthor. Damn creepy how Larfleeze seems to be handling his Guardian. Luthor's advise to the Orange Lantern seems to be channeling the movie incarnations of his character.

I will be interesting to see how successful they will be at milking Luthor as an Orange Lantern in the upcoming Action Comics.

Do you think there is room for yet another Green Lantern title? Who's going to pick up Green Lantern Emerald Warriors?
