Nothing terribly. I picked it up for a while, just because Cyclops was in it. It's just that the Characters don't really grab me. Plus...I just buy too damned many Comics.

I haven't scene these X-Men Ads, nore read them in the Books ..., so I dunno what you guys are writing about, 1st I heard.

I will say this ...

Spider-man bitten by a radio active spider
Blade .. Half Vampire
She-Hulk ... Gamma Mutation

These all do Kinda classify as "Mutant" powers ..., but because they are not "X-men" ..., they get a Free pass , Thats kinda what always bothered me about Marvel and the X-men ...., throw a title out there, thats not "X" ..., and it's cool, they are not a Mutant, but they have Mutant like powers ??? ...

Hmmmm.... by the Marvel geneology "mutant" is genetic; a condition present from birth, even if it expresses much later.... or not at all. She-Hulk and Spidey are "mutates;" beings who's biology was altered by an external effect. Blade is a victim of a mystic disease. So it's kinda weird to see characters who aren't properly mutants as part of the X-Men; a book predecated on the notion of outcasts because they're mutants.

....although it's been implied that durned near ALL supers are mutants, since a gamma bomb would normally kill someone, and not give 'em super strength. That's also why you don't see too many actual superpowered beings until AFTER WW2. Marvel has long maintained that it was radiation from the bomb that started the proliferation of mutants.

The whole Metant thing is a genetic mutation at birth, not cosmic rays or spider-bites or Gamma rays or super-soldier serums. Big difference.
