    >what sets it apart from the other Furry publishers?

MU did a lot of sci-fi and sword and sorcery stuff, but they had such small print runs most folks never saw any of it. Nowadays they're kind of a distributor than a publisher. (well, they're on hiatus right now.... again....) They picked up some established books, like the Post Bros, and did higher print runs.

Which scifi and fantasy titles did they publish? Which ones do you recommend?

Are you saying that their model is to take other former small press titles under their umbrella masthead (like Image) or is it a pure distribution deal where the small press keeps their own masthead? Not sure if the latter counts if that is the case.

Given that the majority of their stuff is Furry, what makes them the best Furry publisher? Which titles?

I don't remember too many of them, and most were pretty generic. There was a superhero/commando/sci-fi one that wasn't bad.... but I don't recall the name.

It's a little trickier.... kinda both. They are/were pretty small; and there was a lot of overlap amongst the small press companies back then. You’d have characters/creators/series bebop from one company to another a lot. Sometimes they’d get published by MU proper, by the late 90's they were kind of a distributor more than publisher.

Hmmmm.... dunno of they were the best; but they did have a lot of variety. The anthro books are a case-by-case kind of thing; no publisher put out series that were consistently good, but most had one or two that were.

So in a thread where we discuss what you think is the best "alt" comic company out there, you recommend one that you have a tremendous amount of... indifference to? And has more or less stopped publishing? At least let us know the one or two good Furry ones that Mu has!

And give us some names of these webcomics you recommend and why they are more interesting to you than the licensed titles from all the other companies!

And folks should totally check out Those Annoying Post Brothers. I know my "buzzphrase" doesn't nearly do the title justice since it does really defy description at times, but I like to think of it as "Violent SciFi Freak Brothers". And Savage Henry is pretty good as well.
