Super Powers Comics from the 80s

Did Golden Pharaoh ever make an appearance in the comics or was it just an action figure created for the line?

Yep, Infantino did the artwork on the third mini series. I believe it did feature the HB based heroes.

Golden Pharoah, Cyclotron, and Samurai appeared in the third mini, but not any of the other "made-up" heroes (Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, El Dorado). That Janus guy turned out to be...

Right, DC released 3 separate Super-Powers mini series....the 3rd debuting in '86.

You can tell they were just phoning it in at that point...I remember the 3rd mini didn't have the charm or appeal for me as the 1st one did. And, if I recall, Jack Kirby was no longer a factor in the minis by that point...I remember really liking his take on the JLA and their foes (Luthor, Brainiac, Joker and Penguin) in the original one.

But other than those Super Powers minis, Golden Pharoah was never shown in regular DC Continuity was he? I don't believe so.
