^ I think BK is probably referring to the longer bike short look as opposed to the briefs....not that big a deal though IMO...the series was light years ahead of the ASB&R fiasco.

Quintley's re-inventing designs are horrible. It's money I just don't care to spend. I like the guys art just fine, can't stand his re-inventing designs.

It was to me. ..., Like I wrote..., can't stand the guy's re-inventing concepts at all, can't really believe others do as well. No worries though, it's not my Money.

          For the record...

"Trunks" have come back into fashion in the past decade (after the reign of "Boxer Briefs", and it appears All Star Supes is merely jumping back to his orinal cut of underwear.

Although many contemporary women these days consider a "tighty reddy" a "dealbreaker", some men do prefer their old "briefs", and there is nothing wrong with that either.

Too each his own. Some of you will prance about the beach in your speedos. I like my good ol' swimtrunks.

            Boxer Brief...

Something to keep in mind, if Supes is like most men, he is very likely not responsible for his own underwear choices. When my lovely lovely spouse entered my life a decade ago, she became some sort of underwear gnome. My "Lois Lane" purged my wardrobe of all briefs and replaced them with boxer briefs. About half a decade ago, the boxer briefs slowly transmogrified in my undie drawer into a fleet of trunks. I'm convinced that soon, as befitting a man of my advancing age, I will soon be owning floppy boxer shorts which I will proudly wear pulled up to my armpits as most of the fashionably elderly tend to do.

For me good artwork fades into the background of a good story, and bad outwork completely overshadows it. That panel above with Supes holding the magic bowling pin laser is as good an example as any. I just can't get past that style.
