^^ It was done in the Earth 2 Morrison book, too. Too bad the cartoon didn't get the twist of the story.

^ That's sorta already been done somewhat in Infinite Crisis when there was the Earth-3 Alex Luthor masquerading as our Lex....

even better, it could be the Earth 3 Luthor and no one will know until a big reveal where the Squad runs into the evil Luthor.

That would be fun to see... kind of like the DC version of Warren Ellis' recent run on Thunderbolts with Norman Osborn in charge.

I dunno, seems like the twist with the one hero on the team is considered a villain by the world at large would be a good one.

Wasn't there a new Blockbuster introduced in Nightwing? He was actually quite intelligent and more of a crime lord.

Nightwing had some pretty interesting rogues. The guy with the backwards head, can't remember his name. I liked to view Nite-wing as a more down to earth Bizarro-Nightwing. I can't remember what happened to that character.

That would be good. I am just all Grundied out. I'm not saying he's over-used, he just happens to have popped up in all of my other favorites - Starman, JSA, JLU, B&B etc.

If the series is restarted, How about dumping Amanda, I cant stand her. and replace her with Green Arrow Or Red Arrow/Arcenal and Speedy. Have him reform the Squad with heros villians picked by him/them as the case deems.

^ She was a really good villain...Shame Robinson killed her off but she probably wouldn't have been handled properly anyway outside of the Starman mythos he constructed.

I like all of this but Grundy. Is the Mist's daughter around these days?
Unless she was resurrected somewhere along the way, her father shot and killed her toward the end of Robinson's Starman series.

But I'd like to see a situation where Lex Luthor is drafted into the Suicide Squad as their leader...I don't care how it's done, I just think it'd be cool to see him in that position.

Bronze Tiger (to keep Luthor in check)
    Copperhead (old-school, non-Neron version)
    Count Vertigo
The Key (allowing the team access to anywhere they need to go)
    Cheshire
    Solomon Grundy (old-school version, non-intelligent)

The JLU cartoon was on to something. Yeah,I know. You said no Deadshot. Just give his slot to someone else.

I'd actually like to see Bronze Tiger in some solo action. He's soooo underutilized and has so much upside as a black ops kind of character. His morality clashing with his missions would be an interesting dynamic. At the very least he deserves a mini. There's way too many characters that have had their own titles that were undeserved. BT would be perfect. He could still have a role in Suicide Squad, though.
