Who are your favourite NEW characters in the Marvel U?

In terms of say, the last 5 years, which characters that have debuted at Marvel do you like best?

I'm really enjoying Doctor Nemesis a great deal in the pages of Uncanny X-Men. A pulp style Nazi-hunting X-Man, what is not to like?


I'm reading Matt Fraction's run of Invincible Iron Man right now and Maria Hill is definitely a great new character. Bold enough to call Tony "Magnum" to his face in regards to his mustache, and just about taking on HAMMER on her own in Seige.

X-23 is Awesome ..., I love how she is written in X-Force ...
Ares ..., Well was very cool, to me ..
Sentry was cool ..., but now that his secret is out , I find the character lack luster..., see Ares.

I don't really read much else ... , Kinda getting into Son of Hulk ..,

What about Hulk Deadpool ? Does that count ???

Does the new Ms Marvel/Moonstone count. I think she has potential, and maybe part of a new Ms Marvel Corps if worked right.

It appears I was wrong about Doctor Nemesis being a new character! He's actually a revival of a golden age character (who also appeared in the Invaders as Dr Death)!

According to wikipedia, he co-created the Android Human Torch with Dr Horton.

I actually think Danger is a pretty interesting idea as well.


The idea that the X-Men's Danger Room at some point gained sentience ("Mutated") from it's original programming and intent.

And Armor's been a pretty cool character too, particularly as Warren Ellis has written her (I think she was a bit too much of an obvious "Kitty Pryde" archetype under her creator Joss Whedon).

Danger turned me off X-Men comics, the Holodeck gives birth story from near the end of star trek -tng run should not have been mined for rehashing in a x-men comic. it already stunk.

I never saw that one. Did the holodeck have little metal nipples too?

I think he was referring to the time where Moriarty gained sentience in Data's Sherlock Holmes holodeck program.
