I kinda like this story line.
I know most DC purists will detest this, but I like what I've read of this. It's a new twist for a character that, quite frankly, I never liked. He was okay as a backup character or as GL's partner in the 70's, but on his own he's surly, abrasive, opinionated and really a jerk. He's a womanizer, a deadbeat dad and a liar. He really has no good qualities aside from his archery and an off-centered sense of right and wrong.
Taking on the role of a hunter was a natural progression. I was pretty surprised about the Prometheus thing but it was a good surprised. I look forward to seeing where this goes.
JT Krull made these last two books fun. His pacing and his dialogue are top-notch. The art is pretty decent as well. I'm very impressed so far. DC may be able to make me a GA fan.
