New Brave and Bold episodes

I'm just catching up on Brave and Bold, and thought I'd take a screen cap for you guys to play Where's Waldo with DC Superheroes.



Interesting How SuperBatman of Planet X was essentially their way of doing a Superman episode without Superman. Interesting twist. Nice to see Lex Luthor even if he wasn't Luthor by name.

Watching the Shazam episode now. Great to see CC Beck's drawings come to life, dot eyes and all.

Are they not allowed to use Supes?

It might be more an internal limitation to try and tread new ground. I would guess bringing in the alien Batman of the fifties would count as something we haven't seen in Batman/Superman Adventures, JLU or The Batman.

Superman's back was seen in "Sidekicks Assemble" along with Wonder Woman and Barry/Flash who we've yet to see. But Flash is confirmed as scheduled to appear, along with Kid-Flash and Zoom.

New episodes start back here in the US (finally) this Friday.

I do love the fact that they are acknowledging legacy heroes with Black Canary, Blue Beetle and Flash. It's such a strong and rich part of the DCU now and an incredibly awesome thing for the cartoons to be mining.
