Superhero Comics for Kids

It honestly takes no effort to dig up material suitable for kids these days!

You can't say the Big Two have not gone back to the well time and again to try and cater to all ages Superhero comics.

Rather than the endless discussions, how about we dedicate a thread to helping out those who are constantly struggling to find stuff for their kids to read?











There is literally a metric tonne of all ages collected editions out there now.

My kids and I have much love for Tiny Titans, the new Brave and the Bold, DC Superfriends, and Shazam.

I've been telling them about Peter Porker the Spectacular Spider-Ham and they thing it's hysterical. I need to look for some back issues soon.

I honestly don't know why Marvel hasn't reprinted these in Manga sized digests...

I like the new Incredibles comic and the mini series of them Family matters I bought that to read to my daughter.

They should reprint these (although they are easily found cheap)

I honestly wish they still published the JLU comic. My son has absolutely no problem buying a comic these days, he loves Tiny Titans and Shazam currently.

My daughter is a different story, she's four and can just barely read so sometimes she makes some odd choices.

If I could ever run across these guys, I'd pick them up for the kids in my life in a heartbeat since they were favourites of mine at a young age...



Problem is I've never seen them in any comic shop I frequent.

We're starting to wander away from Superheroes, but these are some others that kids love.

Bone in and of itself singlehandedly built the scholastic Graphic Novel department.




Mouse Guard I'd be more comfortable giving to a 'tween, but it depends on the kid right?
