Anyone get in on the Barnes and Noble sale?

I'm kicking myself for being away this weekend when everyone went nuts on the Amazon graphic novel sale.

Managed to get in on the brief window for the Barnes and Noble glitch last night. We'll see if any of the books actually ship.

Went for the Eerie/Creepy archives, Iron Man Omnibus, Walking Dead Compendium, Captain Britain, Criminal Deluxe, Daredevil Omnibus and Hellboy Library.

Half my order got cancelled, but here's what actually shipped! I can't believe I got those Creepy Archives for that price point.

Those Creepy archives were a fantastic deal...alas, I got there too late!

Guess we'll not see this happening again, I'm sure they'll be a bit more careful.

There is obviously something going on if both Amazon, and Barnes and Noble got hit with the glitch. Just got to keep our ears to the ground and jump while there is a small window.

Missed out on the big Bloom County collection as well. I understand that they printed many of the early strips that hadn't been reprinted in the first volumes that came out in the eighties.

Its something to do with all the stuff Amazon gets thru Diamond, right now most of it is not purchasable.

They have the big Kirby Coffee table book right now. I'm going to pick that up next time I wander in there.

Yeah - they have a couple of stacks of them. I've been debating picking that up. It's really nice, but I have a lot of that stuff in Kirby Collector books, I also wish there were a few more complete comic stories reprinted in there.

My Iron Man Omnibus arrived. Can't wait for the Walking Dead, Creepy and Eeries to show up on my doorstep.
