I would love a nice, old-fashion retro piece to tell the story.

No post-Iraqi war formed-Avengers..
No 21st Century origin story..

Set it back in a timeframe most fans would appreciate, and non-fans would think is cool.

I know, it'll never happen, because of the success of Ironman and the existing tie-ins to that premise..

For a Tim Burton film, realistically the Wasp might be cast with Wynnona Ryder or Christina Ricci in mind. Not sure who to use as Hank Pym tho in that case. Maybe Mathew Illard who played Shaggy in Scooby Doo? Helena Bonham Carter might be cast as the villainess. Perhaps the Viper?
