Wish there were some color reprints of the 40's comics. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Hmmmm....
This is one of them things I like the idea of more than the actual book. I saw bits and pieces of the original comic when I was a kid, and loved the plane.... but couldn't get into the Eclipse run. (I AM looking for the Airboy/Mr Monster teamup.)

I liked the Airboy series when it came out...that Dave Stevens cover is one of the best ever!
I saw Moonstone released a #1 issue last week that looked pretty good. Thought I might pick that one up. I've had an issue or two of the original series over the years, never thought it was anything spectacular though.
Doesn't Todd McFarlane own the Heap now?Comment

McFarlane owns the Eclipse versions of Airboy and the Heap. Both are public domain characters in their Golden Age versions. Shocker toys is releasing a Heap figure as part of their new Golden Age line, which also includes the Black Terror, the original Blue Beetle, the Arrow, and the original Daredevil - all public domain characters.Comment
