What do you think went wrong with the Birds of Prey TV series?

I watched the aired pilot last night, and I actually enjoyed it. Maybe my initial hang-up was the dead-beat Batman angle, which I just couldn't abide. Sure the Earth Two Bruce Wayne retired Batman after Catwoman died, but he was still Gotham's police commisioner!

I used to dislike Scott's Huntress quite a bit, but I thought she did a pretty good job here. We'll see how I feel as it moves along.
