I wish they would give the guy a chance to do a new movie. Millar sounds like has has big plans and knows what fans want to see

        That is ultra-cool.

Red Son is one of the best comic stories I've ever read. What a neat concept and perfect execution. I don't know how it would translate in to an animated format, but the book is a must-read for any comic fan.

The Red Son idea didn't originate with Millar. It's an updating of the premise from Superman No. 300, which came out in the mid-1970s.

But it's still a great read.

What I love about it is the fact that it's the first whiff we had in decades of how the Silver Age Superman and Lex was handled (albiet within the Soviet Context).

That was the great thing about Millar's run on Adventures of Superman.

Perhaps with the changing of the guard over at DC, Millar and Hitch finally might have their shot at the Big Blue. Although given the fact that Johns just wrapped up Superman Origin and JMS has Superman Earth 1 sewn up, it doesn't look like there would be much wriggle room for Millar and Hitch (unless they wanted to hand them All Star Superman).

wish JSA Unholy Three or Batman Year 100 would get the toon treatment.
