What role do you see Jim Lee and WildStorm taking in the DCU?

WildStorm currently houses the video game and movie/tv licensed books. Currently the only WS title I'm really interested in is Ex Machina. Other than that, I can't think of anything that has really grabbed me since the aborted Grant Morrison runs on Authority and WildCats, and The Boys were shoved out.

Where do you want to see WildStorm in the new DCU? They have already been a bit of a west coast "bullpen" for the art on many DCU books in the past few years.

Should Jim Lee be chained to his drawing board? Out making deals with A-List talent like the ones that were signed onto WildStorm books in the past? Mentoring and nurturing up and coming talent (as they have been)?

I would rather just see Lee Draw WildC.A.T.S. again, Green Lantern for a yr,.. or JLA. That's where I would like to see him ..., A Boostergold or Secret Six arc would be cool for me too.

Wildstorm isn't even on my radar....hasn't been for years...since the original Image WildCATS series....I don't even think I've ever bought a DC/Wildstorm series...Does Astro City count?

In Reality,.. I believe this statement ..., I thought it was a "What if" Question though.

I really don't think either Lee or DC has any idea where to go from here.

The best move would be to sell the property back to Image and wipe their hands clean. They could never integrate the two properties efficiently, so break them up. The Majestic/Superman crossover stuff was pretty cool, but aside from that, Wildstorm stuff has no business within the DCU.

Lee has to make a choice. He cannot oversee both companies. At best, he could only be a minor consultant. As much of a talent as I believe him to be, he cannot split his allegiances anymore. His DC responsibilities with the new title will prohibit his ability to run Wildstorm. Just cut the ties and let Image put his stuff out. They wouldn't do Lee wrong. They would carry his torch.

Art-wise, put him on a title like Aquaman or Batman, just give him 6-8 months lead time. Actually, I'd personally love to see him with JLA, but that's wishful thinking.
