    even if it does it just opens the door for another Action 1 holder to turn over his/her investment (a collector only sells when they upgrade the issue or hit a financial hardship) which then kicks of a det 27 and the cycle continues. it's hard to turn down a MILILION for a single issue

          It really doesn't surprise me. I seem to remember Wayne Gretzky bought the Honus Wagner baseball card that was in the best condition known to exist. I think he paid about $1M for it but then turned around and sold it a few years later for double or more than double what he paid. Not a bad investment.
