Anybody Buy Comics From QVC Back In The Day?

Pre-eBay I remember picking up Alex Ross/Kurt Busiek's Marvels and the 1st half of the Batman Knightfall issues.

oh god, my friend fell into the Valiant trap on QVC he bought all the varient covers..still has them no comic store will take em..poor guy. i warned him not to collect as an investment but he didn't listen

No, but I remember watching one of QVC's comic book specials and wishing that I had the money for everything that they were selling at the time. They had a special guest but I can't remember who it was right now.

Stan Lee was on a bunch of times selling autographed stuff

I found the sports card guys hypnotic and I don't even like sports cards.

Oh wow, I totally forgot about that. Yeah, they used to hawk comics way back when.

I bought a Marvel history lithograph that was signed & remarked with Spidey & MJ heads by the artist Paul Ryan. It cost like $40.00 shipped I think. Still have it framed in my room. Never bought any of the special signed & rare comic sets...Dynamic Forces pushed a lot of their stuff on QVC.

Yeah they were quick sell-outs in the shops and I had to collect 'em all....
