Floro definitely. One of my greatest disappointments was Neil Gaiman not taking over Swamp Thing after Vietch. There was a Floronic Man backup in the Swamp Thing Annual starring Brother Power that Gaiman wrote with wonderful art by Mike Mignola, hinting at all the stuff he had planned for the character.

Taking all that New Guardians "next evolution" stuff and just twisting it into something scary in a dark fantasy kind of way.

I'm sure it would have dovetailed nicely into some of the elements he introduced in his Black Orchid mini as well. It seemed Gaiman had taken a real shine to that character.

When was the last time Floronic Man has shown up in the DCU?

Floronic Man (Jason Woodrue) was in the first Green Lantern story I ever read. GL had a series as a back-up in Flash when his series was canceled and Hal, who was a truck driver at the time, ate some mushrooms that Floronic Man had tainted. The effect turned Hal not evil but more indiffernt to right and wrong.

I've read hundreds of GL comics since then but that back-up story still stands out in my head. Under the influence of the mushrooms, Hal threatens to roast a stater trooper in a wildfire that was burning before shaking off the effects of the shrooms.
