It's awesome, but Batman jumping into heavy machine gun fire is really kind of silly. I don't care how much Kevlar he's got on, its not going to stop such artillery at close range like that!

Still, beautiful piece!

Yeah feel the same but still a great piece love seeing original pieces and the fine line work....

HAW! It's a superheroism: the regular thugs have really bad aim, and oddly ineffective weapons so they never do any real damage. Give one of them rifles to a NAME character though, and look out! (My fave example was an old SpiderMan comic where the Palladin got hit WITH A TANK GUN; and was saved by his kevlar bodysuit.)

Man,.. People have Drawn Him Doing that Since the Beginning of Batman.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
True, but usually there's a reasonable distance between the gunfire and Batman. Often you see the gunfire blazing past him. Still highly doubtful they'd miss him, but here they are pointing at him, point-blank.
I know I'm being too nitpicky, it just jumped out at me. Great artwork though. I do kind of wish they'd use the opportunity to return the oval to his chest. I'm tired of the big bat now.
I prefer the 70s style "tubes" belt myself. I like the Kubert pic but would be interested to see some other artists try their hands at Bats. It's far better than JIm Lee though.
