Newsarama.com : DC's WAR OF THE SUPERMEN A 100 Minute War

Here is what I really can't figure out. Why release all four issues on the same day? It really makes no sense to me. At this point why not a big original graphic novel if they are not actually serializing this? How do retailers order this? More of #1? In equal amounts and sell them as a set?

Bah! The Superman titles have been horrible this past year or so with all of this New Krypton crap....I really want this to end. And Robinson's writing part of this series doesn't exactly thrill me either. His Superman run has been horrible. Geoff Johns and Gary Frank were making Action Comics and Superman a really fun read again and then they jumped ship to tackle the Secret Origin mini, leaving the main books to flounder in their absence. And it doesn't look like they're coming back any time soon. Meanwhile, DC's flagship character is once again no longer relevant IMO.

And Batman and Wonder Woman aren't far behind....The whole death of Bruce/Dick as Batman/Damian as Robin just blows and Wonder Woman isn't even on anyone's radar.

So much for the "Trinity"...

With Geoff Johns and Gary Frank jumping to Batman OGN's starring Bruce, that solves one of them for you!
