Looking for a comic artist

I don't frequent a lot of comic book forums. Is there one that would be particularly good for posting a "Comic Book Artist for Hire" thread?

My friend is hiring and he's looking to widen scope of his talent search. Any suggestions? I know a few of you on here are artists!

If he can wait until Spring, TCAF is a wonderful way for your friend to network with local comic artists.

There used to be a group that met monthly, but I'm not sure they have been getting together lately.

Yeah - I told him about that, but he does want to hire before May.

There is an exhibitor link on the TCAF site, but we only found a few samples of work he liked and they're not local.

Basically he's looking for someone who can work in a very dramatic and realistic style - if that makes sense.

Posting over at OCAD might be his best bet for small press stuff. Or Sheridan.
